INFO - The Israel Newsmakers Forum

Providing the only service of its kind in Israel, INFO-Mishkenot an independent and non-affiliated, non-profit organization initiates meetings, seminars, social events and more for foreign journalists stationed permanently or visiting Israel.

This special first hand and first person contact with life in Israel, with leading Israeli decision makers and prominent thinkers, academics, writers and artists, provide insights into the decisions and dilemmas facing Israel, representing a wide variety of views and opinions highlighting the many facets of Israeli politics, society and culture.

INFO-Mishkenot aims at providing the foreign media with a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of Israel and Israeli life by exposing them to various aspects of everyday Israel - society and culture through the eyes of prominent speakers and one-on-one encounters.

INFO-Mishkenot’s activities consist of a series of monthly briefings, focusing on subjects in the news, by Israeli newsmakers and experts for senior Israel-based foreign press correspondents. In addition, ongoing social and cultural events, hospitality dinners and tours are conducted for the foreign press corps in Israel, offering them the opportunity to meet Israelis representing various facets of society and culture that they would otherwise rarely encounter.

INFO-Mishkenot is based at Mishkenot Sha'ananim in Jerusalem, the city where most foreign journalists reside and maintain their bureaus.
